Energy Consumption Optimization Addressing energy waste is a critical concern for healthcare facilities, with lighting and device usage being prominent contributors. Conventional lighting systems, limited to local controls, often lead to unnecessary energy consumption when lights are inadvertently left on.
Streamlining Facility Management Efficiently managing multiple devices and meeting rooms across a sizable hospital can prove cumbersome and time-consuming when handled individually.
Real-Time Monitoring of Indoor Air Quality The COVID-19 outbreak underscored the importance of continuous Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitoring in healthcare settings. However, real-time and accurate IAQ assessment in busy hospitals can be a challenging task.
By implementing the state-of-the-art smart building saolution from AREYTech AI, Güven Hospital aims to surmount these obstacles and optimize its operations, ultimately resulting in enhanced patient care and overall hospital performance. Leveraging LoRaWAN® technology, the solution enables seamless lighting control, effective device management, and real-time monitoring of energy consumption and indoor air quality. During the project’s initial phase, AREYTech AI deployed gateways and over 150 nodes to establish a smart and healthy office environment. The collected data from the sensors and nodes is transmitted to the cloud platform via gateways for easy data visualization and analysis. Through a user-friendly app, users can remotely monitor and control the devices.

Intelligent Lighting Control The office buildings now feature smart lighting control with the installation of devices in meeting rooms and common areas. WS156 enables occupants to predefine multiple scenes with varying ambiences, which can be easily changed with a button press. Additionally, remote device control is available through the mobile app.
Space Occupancy Monitoring Occupancy sensors, such as PIR & light sensors in washrooms, improve space utilization by detecting toilet occupancy. This helps employees avoid temporary queuing and make better use of the available facilities. sensors installed in meeting rooms provide accurate real-time people counting, effectively optimizing meeting room utilization. The LoRaWAN® Wireless deployment of supports low power consumption and long-distance transmission, and it also supports D2D communication for automatic light and air conditioner control when people enter or leave.
Power Consumption Monitoring Smart Portable Sockets in office and leisure areas enable remote control of water and electrical appliances while providing real-time monitoring of water and electricity consumption data. This data is presented in a visually accessible format, allowing a quick overview of each functional area’s energy consumption. Abnormal energy consumption triggers instant alerts to maintenance managers, helping them identify and address issues promptly and potentially save on unnecessary energy costs.
Indoor Air Quality Monitoring IAQ sensors enable real-time monitoring of various parameters, including temperature, humidity, PIR, light, carbon dioxide, TVOC, barometric pressure, PM2.5, and HCHO in the office. The intuitive traffic light status indicator and emoticon display on the device help occupants easily monitor IAQ data in real-time. If poor indoor air quality is detected, occupants can promptly increase ventilation rates.
Data Collection Controller facilitates quick digital transformation by connecting multiple wired devices through the RS485 interface. For instance, it allows upgrading traditional curtains to wireless remote-control smart curtains and enables real-time monitoring of electricity consumption by connecting with electric meters via RS485.
